What is Sujok? Sujok is a healing therapy developed in South Korea that treats the hands ('Su') and feet ('Jok') as mirror images of the human anatomy. The system is based on the principle that every organ and body part has a corresponding pressure point on the palms and soles. By stimulating these specific points—using pressure, seeds, or magnets—practitioners aim to send healing signals to the affected areas of the body, relieving pain and restoring function without directly touching the injured part.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation and stress reduction. The name comes from two Japanese words: "Rei" (Universal) and "Ki" (Life Energy). During a session, the practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the client’s body to serve as a conduit for this universal energy. The goal is to improve the flow of life energy in the recipient, helping to remove energy blockages that may be causing physical or emotional distress.
Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a holistic system of primary health care based on the belief that the human body has an inherent ability to heal itself ("vitalism"). Rather than just suppressing symptoms with medication, naturopaths focus on identifying and removing the root causes of illness. Treatments utilize natural elements—such as mud therapy, hydrotherapy (water), nutrition, and herbal medicine—to boost the immune system and restore internal balance.
Dorn Therapy
Dorn Therapy (or the Dorn Method) is a gentle, manual holistic treatment developed in Germany that focuses on correcting misalignments of the spinal column and other joints. Unlike chiropractic adjustments that often involve sudden thrusts or "cracking," the Dorn Method is dynamic. The patient actively moves their limbs (swinging arms or legs) while the therapist applies gentle thumb pressure to guide vertebrae and joints back into their natural positions. This active movement distracts the muscles, allowing the bones to slide back into place with minimal resistance.
